Redneck Games
Every summer since 1996, East Dublin, Georgia has been the meeting place for the Redneck Games. The games began as a good natured poke at the Atlanta Olympics by a local country music radio station. The first year drew about 500 people. By 2005, that figure increased to 15,000. Mobs of people brave the blistering Georgia heat to take place in such events as bobbing for pig’s feet, hubcap hurl, and the mud pit bellyflop.
